Miley and Katy Turn Out to Support Britney [VIDEO]

The first night of Britney Spears two year run at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas got underway Friday night with some familiar celebrity faces in the crowd.

The debut of Spears' long-term casino gig Friday kept an audience of about  4,500 on their feet for 90 minutes.

Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Katy Perry (all of whom were undoubtedly influenced by the pop star) were all seen walking the red carpet before the concert, and stayed for the show.

There were acrobatics, a ring of fire, confetti, a live band, multiple costume changes and a three-story tree from which Britney bungee jumped.  The show's production values rivaled Brit's most ambitious music videos, something only found on the Vegas strip in gigs like Cirque Du Soleil.

Spears is set perform 50 shows each in 2014 and 2015.

Casino executives say the gig may be extended if it's first run is successful.
