What a cool idea! Props to Coca-Cola for sponsoring this program. Atlantic City students collected plastic Coke bottles on the beach and with the help of artist Willie Collie, 'Beach Bird' was created.

According to reports from the Press of Atlantic City, the New Jersey Clean Communities Council (NJCCC) will let South Jersey see this work of art up close at their annual conference May 25 & 26. Until then, 'New Jersey Beach Bird' is chilling at Boardwalk Hall.

Sandy Huber, the executive director of NJCCC said in a press release:

The Beach Bird is the ideal visual example of the importance of removing litter from our roads, rivers, banks and beaches.
