Matt Nathanson Plays for SoJO Listeners at Hard Rock in Atlantic City

We threw a surprise SoJO Session with singer/songwriter Matt Nathanson this week at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City! Here's a recap.

Matt's been on the road promoting his new album Sings His Sad Heart. So we were super exciting when he wanting to come back to South Jersey to catch up with SoJO 104.9 and SoJO listeners.

A lucky group of listeners were welcomed into Hard Rock's Song Lounge for an intimate, private, acoustic performance of some of Matt's new songs, as well as some of his biggest hits, like "Come On Get Higher".

He answered fan questions and told lots of stories, too, about his favorite TV shows, ex-girlfriends, his book club, and that one time Taylor Swift bit off his song lyrics.

Matt was even cool enough to recognize some very special birthday girls in the crowd, Brooke Manfredi and Ashley Rourke, who got cupcakes to celebrate.

The event benefited Toys For Tots, and guests who brought a new, unwrapped toy got upgraded to our Meet & Greet with Matt.
