The Ocean City Tourist Development Commission Council will meet this evening to vote on Manco & Manco owner Charlie Bangle's involvement on the board. Bangle and his wife are currently facing a 30-count indictment for failing to pay nearly $1 million dollars in taxes on his landmark pizzerias over a four year period.

Bangle may soon be reappointed to Ocean City's tourism board in spite of the tax charges, 6abc.com reports.

Bangle and his wife own the Manco & Manco pizzeria stores on the Boardwalk as well as Manco & Manco II in Somers Point.

The majority of the resort town officials believe Bangle has done admirable work for the tourism commission, but one council member is unsure of the reappointment while the legal case is still pending.
