A Fairlawn, New Jersey man nearly drowned after almost being electrocuted in a Wildwood Crest motel pool on Satuday.

Police tell NBC10 Philadelphia, a worker and a guest at the Aztec Motel in Wildwood Crest rescued the 34-year-old man from electrocution while in the pool on Saturday night.

After the electricity was shut off, they pulled the man out of the water and immediately performed CPR on him. The man is reportedly still in critical condition on Sunday morning and is being cared for at a nearby hospital.

The pool will remain closed until health officials give it the OK to reopen. Also, police are currently investigating what happened.
