The family of a student injured on Mainland's rope course is considering filing a lawsuit against the school.

It's actually now forced the district to close its popular "Cradle Rock" course.According to the Press of Atlantic City, district superintendent wrote in an email that the school is closing the course and will review all safety issues related to its operation.

The Cradle Rock challenge course uses ropes, climbing walls and cables to promote team-building, confidence and leadership.

The student was injured in the last school year, and the family began its legal action this summer.
