6-year old model and pageant queen Rylee Howerton is no stranger to SoJO 104.9!  She visited the SoJO Morning Show with Tom Morgan recently along with the reigning Miss New Jersey America.  Sunday's First State Queens Pageant for girls between the ages of 0-14 years old andtaking place in Wilmington, Delaware is not Rylee's first competition.  She is the current Cumberland County Tiny Miss, Miss New Jersey Little Miss, and Malaga Little Miss Peach.

This will be the second pageant for Rylee's older sister 13-year old Shellby Watts.  At just 3-years old Shellby became Petite Miss Inland Empire in Riverside, California.

The inaugural First State Queens Pageant is being presented by the husband and wife team of Eric and Kate Godwin, both of whom have strong ties to major pageants up and down the east coast.  Their mission is to run a family friendly pageant with a focus on a positive pageant experience where young girls can gain self-confidence, meet new people, and have fun!

Sunday's festivities will be hosted by SoJO 104.9's own Heather DeLuca, and will take place at 1 p.m. at Paul M. Rambo Memorial Hall, 1107 Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington, Delaware.
