When a Camden County police officer noticed a screaming baby left inside a hot car at a local pharmacy, he didn’t waste time springing into action to rescue the child.
The incident happened at just before noon Thursday at the CVS store on Mickle Blvd in Camden.

According to police, the officer was working nearby when he heard the child cries, 6abc.com reports.

He rushed over to see a sweaty, 4-month-old baby inside a parked vehicle, and smashed the window to get the child out.

The mother was arrested and charged with child endangerment.
