Local Couple Gets Engaged During World Series

So the Kansas City Royals may have officially lost the World Series last night, but for this lucky Galloway Township couple, this series will forever be remembered. 

During Game 6 in Kansas City, John Kelly decided to pop the question to his girlfriend Carolyn Buckley after the 5th inning.  Buckley is originally from Kansas City, and is a life-long Royals fan.

The couple, who are also Galloway Township Police officers, decided at the last minute to take a once in a lifetime trip to Kansas City to see the Royals play in the World Series.  John's decision to propose also came at the last minute, when he decided that this trip would be the perfect opportunity.

Once John and Carolyn sat in their seats, an usher walked up to Carolyn and informed her that she dropped her rally towel.  Inside the towel, was Carolyn's ring.  She of course said yes!
