Crash Kills Local Bicyclist

A tragic accident took place last night...

In Atlantic City, police confirmed a 26 yr old bicyclist was hit by a tractor-trailer.  According to NBC 40, the accident took place on North Rhode Island Avenue and Melrose Avenue at 8:10pm last night.   The truck was trying to make a turn in the residential area, and collided with the victim.

Until all family members are notified, the identity of the bicyclist will not be announced.

No charges have been filed as of yet.
