Welcome to South Jersey, Lidl! The grocery store chain has officially opened their first location, and it's right in Vineland!

The German discount chain just opened its first location at 1107 West Landis Ave and plans to knock other grocery chains outs the park. This location has 20,000 square-feet of space, and was created with efficiency in mind according to NJ.com.

Vineland City Council President, Paul Spinelli had this to say about it's opening:

"It's very exciting anytime we have a new business come to the city of Vineland. [sic]We wish them the best of luck. It's a beautiful store and it is something that is different than any other store in the Vineland area. I think they are going to be very successful with what they do. We are happy to have them."

Additionally, it seems like customers are pretty happy about it's opening:

Lidl is playing no games when it comes to grabbing our attention, and we see you!

Lidl plans to open more locations in Jersey, and currently has its eyes on:

  • Camden County
  • Atlantic County
  • Burlington County
  • Gloucester County
  • Monmouth County

Can I get a "yaaaassss"?
