The parent company of Kmart announced Thursday that another South Jersey location will close.

Sears will close the Kmart on Route 38 in Moorestown in mid-November. A liquidation sale is set to begin on August 31st. More than two dozen other Kmart stores around the country will also close their doors by the end of the year.

The retailer has struggled to earn profits over the last several years in the face of competition from Target, Walmart, and online shopping websites.

Here's hoping the Somers Point location remains safe.
