Kelly Clarkson Cancels Wedding!

Kelly Clarkson and her fiance Brandon Blackstock have decided to cancel the lavish wedding they had planned for this October.

Kelly announced on Wednesday that due to busy schedules, the couple had a change of heart and decided that they "want to elope."  She told People Magazine that things "got crazy" after they sent a save-the-date to their guests and "all the details were leaking."

Kelly, who has a Christmas album coming out in October as well, says they just don't have time to plan such a grand affair.  The singer went on to say that their "whole life is a celebration," so they decided that they would rather "have an intimate moment that's special."

The couple sent their invited guests letters thanking them but saying that "it's just going to be her, Brandon, his two kids and the minister."

Mmmmm, I wonder if Clarkson is giving up the sound of wedding bells in exchange for baby rattles?  Either way, we wish them the best!
