Katy Perry made the crowd "Rise" and "Roar" at tonight's 2016 Democratic National Convention.

Following Chloe Grace Moretz's speech urging fellow millennials to register to vote, the Teenage Dream superstar made an impassioned speech of her own about her background, urging the country to have "an open mind."

"So, both of my parents are pastors and staunch Republicans," she began.

"I didn't finish high school, and unfortunately I don't have a formal education. But I do have an open mind...and I have a voice."

"I'm asking you to have an open mind and to use your voice, because on November 8, you'll be just as powerful as any NRA lobbyist. You'll have as much say as any billionaire."

"Or you can just cancel out your weird cousin's vote if you'd like," she teased.

The "Unconditionally" singer has been a longtime vocal champion of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential election, and has been campaigning since last year in Iowa.

"Remember: it's not where you come from, it's what you grow into," she declared to the cheering crowd. "I'm going to vote for Hillary Clinton."

"I have a couple of saved messages from HRC. I bet you guys have to know that I have a closet full of Hillary-themed dresses, right? I have been on the road with her since Iowa. And now, guess what? You can join her on the road too."

The singer then launched into her new Top 20 hit, 2016 Summer Olympics anthem "Rise," as well as her 2013 empowering lead Prism smash, "Roar."
