Justice for Jennifer Hudson- Family Murderer Found Guilty

The jury in Chicago reached a verdict in the murder of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew.  William Balfour will be serving the rest of life in prison for his acts against the former Oscar winner's family.

The former American Idol finalist had taken the stand in this case, and expressed her undisguised disdain for  Balfour when she took the witness stand.  The Associated Press reports that Hudson was visibly overcome with emotion as the verdict was read.  Hudson's eyes filled with tears and she shook her head and bit her lip after the jury read the verdict after deliberating for three days.

Balfour, a former gang member was the estranged husband of Hudson's sister, Julia Hudson, at the time of the triple murders.  ABC 6 Action News has more on this story - click here to read.
