John Mayer and Katy Perry No More?

It seemed like only yesterday that we were talking about this couple getting engaged (Katy was recently spotted with a ring).  Is it possible things changed?

Seven months.  Seven months is all it took for Katy Perry and John Mayer to call it quits.

My bet was on eight months......do I win anything for being close?

The pair also broke up briefly during the summer, but I don't think that counts.

It's pretty clear this couple is toast, because according to People Magazine, Katy Perry tweeted ' "Perfectly put, by Daughter" with a link to the indie-rock group's single "Landfill." That song includes the lyrics: "I want you so much, but I hate your guts I hate you." '

Yep, that will do it
