Winning the lottery was what we all have dreamed of at some point, and if you should ever get that lucky New Jersey provides some protection from a new bill.

The state Assembly passed a bill by a vote of 74-0 to give you the chance to stay anonymous as a lottery winner for up to one year.

So imagine for a second you did hit the major Powerball jackpot recently - this new bill would provide you a break from being harassed by those who hare looking for a handout, or an aggressive salesperson, and scam artists trying to reach you.

The law that has been on the book in N.J. states that the state may make public your name, prize amount, your hometown and photos.

Now all you need to do is hit the lottery jackpot ..... remember the New Jersey Lottery says to "Give Your Dreams a Chance".
