Is Britney Spears Engaged…Again?

No, not yet.  But rumors are she's about to be.  Multiple sources close to Britney Spears say her flame of nine months, David Lucado, plans to pop the question as soon as next week.

Britney has had one marriage annulled; another ended in divorce.  She's also experienced a broken engagement.  But some say the singer is planning to head down the aisle with Lucado.

Britney has been spotted with what looks like a gold wedding band on the ring finger of her left hand.  The rumor going around Sin City is that Britney's boyfriend had given her the jewelry as a "commitment ring," and that he's asked her father Jamie for permission to get engaged.

Sources claim David will officially propose to Britney and present her with a real engagement ring after her sold-out Valentine's Day concert at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

So much for a surprise, right?
