Lionsgate has officially confirmed that the U.S. will get its own Hunger Games Theme Park in Atlanta, Georgia in 2019. The company is teaming up with Avatron Smart Park, as part of Lionsgate's larger strategy that includes the Hunger Games Theme Parks in Dubai and China.

Now, I know you must be wondering what in the world will this park be centered around? Will children have to fight to the death in order to get out? Or will a violent revolution ensue with Trump as President? (Kidding!)

For a while, Lionsgate avoided the idea, until Avatron vice chairman, James Ram, pointed out the positive impact of this movie, being that it stars a strong young woman.

The Hunger Games Theme Park, (which I assume it is going to be called) will have a recreation of Katniss' Everdeen's District 12 home, a virtual hovercraft tour of Panem, and a Roller Coaster similar to the high speed trains found in the movie. You will even be able to tour the various Hunger Games' arenas. Perhaps there will even be an opportunity for you to test your survival skills.

So far, this seems like a pretty cool idea especially considering that Universal Studios in Orlando has Harry Potter World. We shall see how this all pans out...

In the meantime, don't forget the final installment of Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 will hit theaters November 20.
