Thanksgiving is not over when the meal is done. If your family is like mine chances are you're taking some goodie bags home. How long do you keep it for?

According to WFLA, leftovers do have an expiration date (whoops). Once food is left out for more than two hours, you should probably throw them away.

This is already a mistake I make ALL THE TIME especially after traveling 3 hours from my parents house. If you haven't put the food in your fridge within those two hours, it's probably best to just throw it out.

Meats, potatoes, and pies are still edible for three days once you put it in the fridge (like most foods, honestly). But if you happen to go past that, just give your food a little sniff before digging in.

Apparently turkeys and pies could last for months if properly stored away in the freezer. If you have turkey and pie in the freezer since THANKSGIVING, definitely going to question your willpower. I'm lucky if my leftovers even last the week!

Even though it says we should get rid of it if we leave it out past two hours, I know I'll still do the old sniff method to make sure it's fresh.

How long do you keep your Thanksgiving leftovers for? Better yet, what food masterpieces do you make with your leftovers??
