Hotel Employee Turns Trash Into Treasure in Camden

This Wyndham Hotel employee in Mt. Laurel is donating used furniture to charity versus taking them to the dumpster.

6abc reports, Sales and Marketing Director Vicky McCristal saw more use for these previously loved sleeper couches and chairs. To her, instead of spending $3,000 renting trash bins it was more useful to donate them to people in need.

McCristal with the permission of Wyndham Hotel has been seeking out shelters, senior facilities and churches within Camden that are in need.

According to the report, McCristal hopes she inspires other neighboring hotels to do the same.

Truly heartwarming instance of 'one man's trash is another man's treasure.'
