Horses Running Loose on Atlantic City Expressway

Look closely at this photo.  You can see several horses running loose on an area roadway.  Those cars are on the Atlantic City Expressway where the equines have gone rogue.

According to 6abc.com, New Jersey State Police were called around 6 p.m. New Jersey State police to a stretch of the AC Expressway near Route 42 where three to four horses were seen galloping in the northbound lanes.

Traffic is backed up approaching the scene.

State Police tell Action News that they don't know who the owner is or why the horses broke free, but that at the moment nobody is trying to wrangle up the horses.
