This is the story of "Joe." He's a 26-year-old Boston native who chooses to be homeless and takes pride in mastering his "technique."

Joe was kicked out of his house when his mother discovered he was using drugs. He's lived on the streets of New York City ever since, but he spends most of his time in beds of complete strangers.

Simply put, Joe lives off of one-night-stands.

By panhandling, Joe makes an average of $150 a day. In order to stay presentable and clean, he'll spend the night with an average of 3-4 women a week. He sleeps on cardboard on the street the other nights.

It's all about "liquid courage" for Joe. He says once he gets drunk, "all bets are off."

He proudly says "I do homelessness differently. I literally wake up every single day and do whatever the **** I want." He doesn't consider himself a "bum," but a "gypsy."

He tries to pay it forward on the streets by helping others.

But when asked in the interview if he feels guilty when he sees a homeless veteran, Joe says "no, not even a little bit." Why? "There's plenty of money to go around."

The reaction to Joe's story has been mixed. Some Millennials call him a god. Others are just plain disgusted.

I think "Joe" is a professional scumbag. Here is a guy who is making $150 A DAY on the street. There are clearly deeper issues than we get to see in this story, but he seems levelheaded enough to be able to get on the right path instead of being lazy and taking advantage of people financially and emotionally. His cocky attitude about his lifestyle and disregard for people who have really fallen on hard times is the worst. Homelessness is not a sport. Veterans, the mentally ill and those who have taken a wrong turn in life, I'm sure, would agree. For those who think "Joe" is "the man," grow up.
