Historical Items From 1400 BC Found Along Camden Waterfront

Archaeologists went underneath the Camden Waterfront and found historical items that date back to 1400 BC.

As a person that is fascinated by archaeology and history, it excites me that these items were found basically in our backyard!

6abc News says, archaeologists showed off all of their ancient findings on Thursday. According to archaeological testing, the items date back all the way to 1400 BC!

As T&M Associates Project Manager, Mark Settler, puts it:

"I'm flabbergasted. Just to hear that it goes back upwards of 1,000 years before Christ, so to speak, that's really powerful stuff"

That's pretty cool.

The 1,300 items found are believed to belong to ancient Native Americans. Now thanks to these findings, archaeologists can learn more about their way of life.

Meanwhile, I shall be making my way to Camden so I can figure out a way to check out the site.
