Step Aside, Elf! Here is a list of 10 'Christmas' movies you can watch during this holiday season that you've probably forgotten all about, or haven't seen.

As I sit on my couch writing this, one of my favorite holiday movies, 'The Holiday,' is playing in the background. This led me to think about all the holiday movies I like to watch solo, or with some friends during this time of year. Thus, the list was born!

While not ALL are holiday movies, they always seem fitting for this time of year especially when the temperatures drop and you're at home snuggled on the couch.

  • 1

    Love Actually (2003)

  • 2

    The Holiday (2006)

    Jude Law, that is all.

  • 3

    While You Were Sleeping (1995)

Sandra Bullock is a Chicago transit worker who rescues a handsome commuter, pretends to be his fiancee while he's comatose...and falls for his brother.

  • 4

    A Christmas Prince (2017)

This movie is the most streamed holiday movie on Netflix this season, and has won its place on this list for that reason.

  • 5

    It's a Wonderful Life (1946)

'What do you want? You want the moon?'

  • 6

    The Best Man Holiday (2013)

Keep your tissue box closeby...actually keep a few tissue boxes closeby.

  • 7

    Just Friends (2005)

An underrated comedy with Ryan Reynolds as a guy who returns home, runs into his high-school crush and tries to win her over.

  • 8

    Bridget Jones Diary (2001)

The ultimate single girl comedy, and since there are ugly Christmas sweaters involved on this list it goes! Besides who would be against a young Colin Firth?

  • 9

New York, I Love You (2008)

While everyone here may be beautiful, they can't seem to get there -ish together in this Christmas romantic dramedy.

  • 10

    Definitely, Maybe (2008)

Watch as a newly divorced father tells his daughter the story of how her parents met through this game of 'Guess Who.' Also, it just doesn't get enough credit!
