Helicopter Crashes in Cape May County

A helicopter crashed this morning in Middle Township.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the helicopter crashed around 10:45 this morning near a soccer field at the intersection of Hand Avenue and South Boyd Street in Cape May Court House.  The Press reports the helicopter is owned by the Cape May County Mosquito Control Commission. Middle Township Police say both the pilot and the passenger were taken to Cape Regional Medical Center. The pilot was not injured and the passenger had non-life threatening injuries. There were no injuries on the ground and no houses were damaged.

Middle Township Police along with the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office and Sheriff Department are on scene to assist with the crash scene.
