Hollywood's biggest stars turned out for the season's most-anticipated red carpets last night.  But who looked fierce at the Academy Awards and who should fire their stylist? It's a tale of six gals and a guy.

WINNER!: Emma Stone in Elie Saab

Why? There are so many things right with this gown.  And when you chose a color like chartreuse, it can sometimes wear you. But the beading and the sheer underlay make this gown seem light and effortless.  And the perfectly dyed peep-toe pumps add to the magic. A+!

LOSER!: Patricia Arquette in Rosetta Getty

Why? It's like she knew she had to go out and just threw on whatever she could find. It appears as if very little effort went into this look. Patricia was the shoe-in for Best Supporting Actress, which means she would've had access to the best designers and stylists for the Oscars.  She went with a designer with little name recognition, who put her in a gown that did nothing for her figure, and had no sense of anything special or twinkling.  And don't even get me started on the hair.
