Rosebud has made her rounds around South Jersey and is making a name for herself. Watch her debut radio interview with The Mike Show!

And we couldn't be happier to have her!

Rosebud is a therapy chicken based out of Haddon Township, and lives with her Hen Mama, Gwenne Baile. Gwenne was a former nurse and midwife, who turned her love for chickens into a full time job.

At only 2 years old, Rosebud brings happiness to others through her stops at senior citizen homes, libraries, schools and festivals. And, she does this completely free of charge!

Feel free to follow Rosebud's journey through her Facebook page, On the Road with Rosebud, the Therapy Chicken.

If you're looking into raising chickens in your own backyard, check out Gwenne Baile's event!

Where: 1301 Park Boulevard, Cherry Hill NJ, 08002

When: January 7, 2018 (snow date: January 14, 2018)

Description:

"Gwenne Baile, Chair, Camden County Chickens and Chair, Haddon Township’s Backyard Chicken Pilot Advisory Board will teach you how easy and rewarding it is to raise a backyard flock.  Learn everything from choosing the right chicks, setting up a coop, and keeping them happy and healthy year-round. Rosebud, her Therapy Chicken, will be joining us! She will briefly discuss various chicken ordinances in Camden County and surrounding areas. This class is mandatory for most towns where there are new ordinances or pilot programs. It would be good for residents of other towns to attend the class since other towns looking into modifying their existing ordinances are generally requiring attendance at a class."

Price: $10 per person
