Have You Been on NJ’s ‘Great Pumpkin Train?’

While there are plenty of Halloween events right here in South Jersey, this attraction may be worth the day trip. 

The Great Pumpkin Train is operated by Delaware River Railroad Excursions and it is awesome.

It's located in Phillipsburg, NJ, and trips begin on the weekend of September 30. This family-friendly attraction operates every weekend through October 29.

The trips leave at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. The cost to ride is $18 for adults and $12 for children. Not bad, considering you'll get to see amazing views of the Delaware River and the changing colors of Fall. Plus, there are tons of activities for kids.

Their pumpkin patch is pretty legit.

Their corn maze is one of the best in the state.
