Avoid some awkwardness this Halloween, and find out how popular your costume is! Google Trends introduces Frightgheist to help you out this season. The site draws up this year's top 500 costume searches within the United States. And it's super easy to use. See this year I plan on being the devil (very original I know). But all I had to was type the word "devil", and voila! Devil has been ranked as number 51 on recent costume searches. So, I am not too basic this year.

The most-searched Halloween costumes this year are: Harley Quinn, Star Wars, superhero, pirate, and Batman. Thank god I decided to not be a pirate for the third time in a row. Also get ready for a lot of Minions this year, because Mike and I did a personal search and it ranked at number 8.

Frightgheist even narrows down your search locally if you enter your closest major city. I tested this myself, so for South Jersey just type in Philadelphia and it'll give you the top five! Not shabby.

So definitely check out Frightgheist, its a pretty nifty site!
