Google Maps Update Tells Users if Location is Wheelchair Friendly
Google Maps latest feature allows users to come together and help in letting other users know if places are wheelchair-friendly or not.
Like HelloGiggles points out, it is extremely unfair that not all locations are set up to benefit the disabled members in our community. And, it can make it extremely difficult to get around without having that information first!
Thanks to Google Maps latest update, users can discover and update location information. And, from the looks of it, it's super easy to do!
All you have to do is add to the "Your Contributions" tab and full in the info! Google explains that by crowdsourcing, users can speed up the process of informing others.
With this feature, people can discover how accessible a location is (such as their elevators, restroom, seating, etc).
This is great! Its just bringing us even closer to a more inclusive society, and showing our love and support!
