An elderly woman was saved from an oncoming NJ Transit train with seconds to spare thanks to this Good Samaritan on Wednesday. 

This poor woman tried to cross with her two canes, and completely froze when she saw the train coming her way. Luckily, this brave driver saw she was frozen and ran to her rescue.

The incident in Saddle Brook was caught on dash cam. Check out the video from ABC News below:

Could you imagine being the person in either situation? On one hand, you're paralyzed from fear of being hit by a train. On the other hand, you're watching this potential tragedy unfold before your eyes. Fight or flight in both scenarios.

It's truly amazing to see there are good people like this man! In this situation, it takes a lot of courage to do what he did.

He tells ABC News, "I'm not a hero, I'm not anything. I just saw something and something needed to be done."

Regardless of whether or not he sees himself as a hero, I think it's safe to say he is one.
