Giant Squid Appears in Skies Over Wildwood [VIDEO]

It was giant, it was purple, and it was flying over Wildwood beach this past weekend. It was a 120-foot, 50 lb. squid.

And it was a kite!

Seymour the Flying Squid was just one of the mesmerizing kites flying high during Saturday's Wildwoods International Kite Festival.

I'm horrible at flying a kite, so I guess I'll have to remember the festival when it comes to town next year, since lessons were reportedly offered to those those like myself that lack the skills.
