Galloway Township Man Charged After Father is Found Dead

Atlantic County prosecutors say a 60-year-old man was found dead inside his Galloway Township home on Saturday, and now police believe his own son may have played a role in his death.

Authorities have not said who found James Sopuch, Sr. Saturday night inside the Galloway home he shared with his son. An autopsy shows the victim suffered blunt-force trauma to the head, 6abc.com reports, but no further details have been made available.

UPDATE: 29-year-old James Sopuch, Jr. has been arrested and charged with murder.

Bail was set at $100,000 cash.
