SoJO 104.9 and The Wine Room of Cherry Hill gave listeners the  ultimate experience of making and bottling their very own signature wine blend! Heather DeLuca, listeners and their guests enjoyed a wine tasting event with delicious cheeses, fruits and wine sampling!   

Five very lucky partygoers won a day of personal wine making courtesy of The Wine Room to go through the entire process of crafting, bottling, and naming your own signature blend and some to share with friends and family!

Stiletto Sprint Winner

SoJO 104.9 hosted the  ‘Stiletto Sprint’ at   Tanger Outlets The Walk In Atlantic City! The fastest runner in 2″ pumps won $250 to spend on new spring fashions and the Stiletto Trophy!

The SoJO ‘Stiletto Sprint’ took place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 14th just off Michigan Avenue of Tanger Outlets The Walk in Atlantic City during Spring Fashion Week.  SoJO also hosted a highest heel contest and took an audience poll for the best style shoe for gift cards to The Walk!

As many know, the Revel is ready to throw open it’s doors and debut it’s Mega Resort on Memorial Day weekend with a soft opening in the beginning of April.  I was lucky enough to get a preview of the property and lucky for those of you that can’t wait, I took along my handy little camera and started snapping away! Check out my pics in the gallery below.  You will see inside the retail space, the restaurants, bars and even inside Ovation Hall, which will debut with The Black Keys, Maroon 5 & Beyonce!  So watcha think? Girls Night Out at Pic-A-Lilli Inn

Heather DeLuca hosted another Girls Night Out at Pic-A-Lilli Inn on Route 206 in Shamong!  Listeners won dinner for two at the Pic and to play Celebrity Gossip Trivia for great prizes including concert tickets with meet and greet passes to see Daughtry and a mini vacation to Smugglers Notch in beautiful Vermont!

SoJO welcomed break-out artist Susan Justice for an in-studio visit and performance!  Susan sang songs off her new album Eat Dirt to be released on March 26th!

Listeners enjoyed a pizza party and had a chance to talk with Susan and grab photos and autographs!

The South Jersey Spelling Bee was held this weekend at Absegami High School where  students from local schools competed for the title of South Jersey Spelling Bee Champion. The champion was Ebose Eigbe of Roland Rogers Elementary School and will go on to Washington, DC for a chance to win it all at the televised Scripps National Spelling Bee. In 2nd place was Paras Shah of Emma C. Attales Middle School and 3rd place was Jewel Foster of Galloway Township Middle School!  Congratulations to all the school champions who participated!

Wedding Winner Lindsey of Millville

Dreams came true at The Mansion  as SoJO 104.9 awarded a free dream wedding to one lucky listener!

Photographers, florists, tuxedo rentals and invitation representatives were on hand to offer their servies to hundreds of brides planning their special day during The Mansion’s Premier Bridal Show!  Our on air qualifiers checked in to put their name in the gold drum in hopes of winning a free $10,000 wedding!  Anyone at the event also had a chance to win a spot in the giveaway!  After a brial fashion show courtesy of Jay West, Morning Show host Tom Morgan pulled out winner….Lindsey Thompson of Millville!  She was shocked and excited to tell her fiance who was home sick!  I’m sure this brightened his day!  Thank you to The Mansion for a wonderful day!

Mikey Wax

SoJO listeners enjoyed a night of live music, January 24th with our SoJO Session with American Idol Top 4 Finalist James Durban and special guest Mikey Wax at  Angelo’s Fairmount Tavern in Atlantic City!  Listeners were able to mix and mingle with James and Mikey and take photos!

In support of Out In A.C., Harrah’s Entertainment hosted SoJO 104.9′s Drag Race!  Contestants won there spot to compete on air during The SoJO Morning Show with Tom Morgan, then raced in high heels to the finish!!!

11.17.11 SoJO qualified listeners on air all week to play on a life size Monopoly board at the Dennis Courtyard at Bally’s Casino in Atlantic City to win $$$!  Rita from Cleveland, who was on her honeymoon was the big winner taking home $1,080!
