Friday Afternoon Shooting in Pleasantville – One Injured

Police in Pleasantville are spending this Friday afternoon investigating a shooting at West Adams Avenue that has put one man in the hospital.

Lynda Cohen and Rob Spahr from The Press of Atlantic City went to the scene and reports that gun shell casings litter a stretch of the 200 block of West Adams, where three shots went through a car and struck a man inside.

The identity of the victim has been not been made available as of yet, and neither has his current condition from the shooting.

The Press of A.C. did manage to get some info on the victim from Elba Arqueado, who was in her yard across the street when the shooting occurred.  Arqueado said the victim was a "neighbor's boyfriend," but that she did not know his name or anything else about him.

No one else from the area has decided to comment on the incident, but more details should be forthcoming.
