Nothing is worse than when you have to change your Facebook relationship status to single. Facebook has now made it easier and is hiding notification of your ex in your news feed.Facebook announced on Thursday that its new feature (still in the testing phase) will help mobile users in the United States for right now. If the feedback is good, the feature will spread everywhere. Although you are already able to do this manually, this new feature makes it as easy as 1-2-3!

Once you have changed your relationship status, the option to change how often you see your ex will appear. Now you can see less of their name, or their pictures without having to unfollow, because we know we love to creep a little post-breakup. Also, if they are are tagged in a photo by a mutual friend, you wouldn't see it.

The setting even works in reverse so that your ex will not see your notifications or posts, while your ex has absolutely no idea. Also, those sneaky past photos that may pop up are handled by simply untagging yourself from that memory.
