Ocean Mental Health Services and the Ocean Cares Foundation will host the Race for Respect on September 22nd on the Boardwalk in Seaside Park. The race raises money to benefit Ocean Mental Health Services, which assists children, teens, and adults throughout Ocean County. The Race for Respect also brings awareness to issues of Mental Health.

The event will include a 5K run/walk and a 1 mile fun run. Awards in many age categories will be presented following the completion of the run/walk. Refreshments, goody bags, and T-shirts will be available for registrants (while supplies last). Registration and check-in will begin at 7:30 am, on the boardwalk at Stockton Avenue.  Participants can print a registration flyer or register online at www.oceanmhs.org/5k-2012.
Advance registration, due August 31, 2012, is $25 per person for the 5K run walk, $10 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Registration on or after September 1st is $30.00 per person for the 5K run walk, $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run.
