The Hammonton Mothers’ Club, a New Jersey Non-Profit Corporation, will be
sponsoring the Hammonton 5K Run For Fun on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Hammonton
Lake Park, 100 Sports Drive, Hammonton, NJ, 08037. All proceeds of the event will benefit the Hammonton Parks and Recreation Department which provides recreational programs and playground facilities in the greater Hammonton area. The course will be a police assisted run through the quaint and historic
streets of Hammonton, NJ starting and ending at the Hammonton Lake Park. There will also be a 1 mile family walk in a traffic-free track. Prizes and medals will be awarded to the top male and female runners. Other awards will be given to the top male and female in the following age categories: junior to age 19,
20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59 and 60 and above. Pre-registration deadline is April 14, 2012, all pre-entrants will receive a t-shirt. Day of event registrations are not guaranteed a t-shirt, as supplies are limited. Entry fees are per person, kids 5 and under are free. 5K Pre-registration is $25, 5K day of event is $30, 1 Mile family walk is $10. to have a registration form mailed. Family walk start time is 8:30 a.m., 5K race start time is 9:15 a.m. Numbers can be picked up the day of the race at the Canoe Club located in the Hammonton Lake Park
beginning at 7:30 a.m. The Hammonton Mothers Club is a non-profit network of stay-at-home and working
mothers with children of all ages that aims to provide support, social activities and
community involvement for members and their families.
