Cure for the Shore down to the Jersey Shore!!! On June 23rd 2013 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Beachcomber Bar located at 100 Ocean Terrace in Seaside Heights, NJ 08751. There is going to be a 8 hour event that will raise money to aide in the clean-up and restoration of some of the hardest hit areas of the Jersey Shore. For $25.00 you will get a food buffet courtesy of Beachcomber, all day drink specials including $1.50 drafts and $3.00 bottles, and 6 hours of GREAT music by some of the most sought after bands of the Jersey Shore. There will also be a 50/50 Raffle, and an event T-shirt sale. This is a kid friendly concert and children 5 and under are free and children 6-12 are just $10.00.

This event is going to have a twist to it though. We are incorporating a bike run sponsored by Harley Davidson that will start at Plumstead Grill on RT 539 Registration will be from 8-10 am with kickstands up at 11 and continue on a route that will end up at Beachcomber!! For $25.00 a rider and $20.00 per passenger(this price include admission into the concert event!!) there will be a straight run to Beachcomber. At the start of the bike run we will have 50/50 sales as well as some great items up for raffle.

Monies raised from this bike run and concert event will be going to the following entities. It will include fire and rescue units that were affected when the storm hit and who lost their stations and equipment. Almost 6 months later they are no closer to getting back on their feet. Federal Aid is slow in coming in and some units are still working out of makeshift stations. This did not stop these men and women from going out and risking their lives to save the lives of others.

The recipients are:

1. Helping Hands
2. Mantoloking Fire Co.

Tickets will go on sale Monday May 20th 2013 and they can be purchased at Beachcomber in Seaside or by calling 609-968-2240 Clean-up and rebuilding from Hurricane Sandy will take many months if not years to accomplish. So Please join us in our efforts and come out and support THE CURE for the SHORE 8-hour concert event and bike run that will raise money to aide in the clean-up and restoration of some of the hardest hit areas of the Jersey Shore!!
