2012 Homers for Hope Home Run Derby Championships will take place this Saturday, June 9th from 11am to 5pm at Campbell’s Field, the Home of the Camden Riversharks, 401 N. Delaware Ave, Camden NJ 08080. Homers for Hope provides a monthly income to families who have suffered a tragedy or severe hardship. The organization’s goal is to provide financial assistance while the families cope with a traumatic life event. For more information visit www.homersforhope.org. Come cheer on and support your favorite player, meet and greet with Phillies and Eagles’ legendary PA announcer Dan Baker.  There will be  hot dogs and sodas, great fun for the kids, giant merry-go-round, and awesome fun zone playground. Pick up softball game on Camden Riversharks field at 3:00 PM.  Free Fat Head stickers for anyone who donates while supplies last.
