Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Ed Sheeran's playing Philly on September 8, Happy Birthday to me!  That's right, our favorite gingery Brit (sorry, Prince Harry) has just lined up his first solo-headlining North American tour dates, and one is for Wells Fargo Center in Philly!

Sheeran, who just announced his new album X will be out on June 23, opened up for Taylor Swift last summer to just over 100,000 onlookers over two days.  Ed's ability to command an audience of that size in broad daylight with nothing more than a foot pedal machine was commendable.  He had those concertgoers in the palm of his hand during his short 35-minute set.  But on September 8 the fans at Wells Fargo Center will get a full show from the singer/songwriter.

Tickets for Ed's tour are scheduled to go on sale soon!  We will keep you posted about an exact date and time.

Sheeran's new song 'Sing' is quite the departure, produced by Pharrell Williams and much more upbeat than anything he's every released.
