A head-on collision between two dump trucks shut down Route 50 in Hamilton Township early this morning.
The crash happened before 5:30 a.m. on Route 50 at South County Boulevard, according to 6abc.com.

At least one person was reportedly trapped in the wreckage, but there is no word on that person's condition.

Fuel from one truck spilled onto the road, requiring a hazardous materials team to be called for cleanup.

Route 50 was shut down in both directions as emergency crews tended to the wounded.

No immediate word on when Route 50 might reopen as the crash investigation continues.
