Drivers See Spike in New Jersey Gas Prices

Remember the good ol' days when gas was just under $2 a gallon? Me either, especially since gas just seems to be going up and up.

I noticed this last week and thought maybe it was just that particular gas station. But, when I went to my trusty-guaranteed-to-be-cheap gas station...gas was $2.29 a gallon!!!

WHAT?!

According to AP, the average price in New Jersey is currently at $2.36. Meanwhile around this time last year, gas was only $1.92 a gallon. Apparently, this is because of the high demand due to traveling.

Let's all take a second and reminisce about this. *please wait 5 seconds here*
