When my family and I were in Disney World, just about every ride Wife Karin got on broke down!

The People Mover, Flying Dumbo, Tomorrow Land Speedway, Star Tours, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and the list goes on...

When Wife Karin was on the People Mover and it broke down, the Disney Cast Members had to turn the lights on in Space Mountain to get all the people off the ride (the People Mover goes through Space Mountain). Seeing Space Mountain with the lights on is a rare thing, because Space Mountain is an indoor roller coaster that is run in the dark - in almost complete darkness.

This video is from Space Mountain in Disney Land (California) but looks pretty much the same with the lights on. Pretty neat!

She had this to say about her video:

For the first time ever, I was on Space Mountain when it broke down (at Disneyland in California). I had been waiting for this moment for years. Funniest part is at the beginning where everyone "OOOOOOOH"s at the lights coming up. We sat for a bit until the cast members manually launched our rocket, then we got to ride the remaining bit of coaster with the lights on.

Imagine having your car window FROZEN in the DOWN POSITION at 3:30 in the morning and 18 degrees. Yep, It happened to me.
