The Reason Behind Taylor Swift’s STFU at the MTV VMAs is Revealed [UPDATE/VIDEO]

One Direction handed out the very first award of the show, the group includes Taylor's Ex-Boyfriend Harry Styles.  While the group was presenting, the camera went over to Taylor Swift, and that's when the magic began....

For some reason, the VMA producers decided to cut to Taylor Swift about once every 60 seconds or so throughout the night.

One of the moments, of course, was when the members of One Direction started talking...

UPDATE:  Ed Sheeran was recently asked about the reasoning behind the cuss word.  Ed explained, 'Taylor was simply reacting to something Selena said to her. "Selena said to her, 'I think Miley's gonna win the award,'" referring to the category of Best Pop Video, which both Selena and Miley were up for.  "And Taylor said, 'Oh, shut the f**k up!'"  (ABC News)
