With Sears in Mays Landing in liquidation mode, comes the announcement that the location in Deptford will follow suit.

Chapter 11 bankruptcy documents were reportedly filed in federal court in New York by Sears Holding Co. on Monday, according to Patch.com. The Deptford store landed on a list of locations considered to be 'unprofitable'. Another 46 locations, including at Hamilton Mall, are expected to be fully closed by the end of November, leaving more employees out of a job just before the holiday rush.
