Professional instigator Demi Lovato appears to have sided with Calvin Harris in his lonely Twitter war with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Fans noted that Lovato began quietly following Harris after he went off on Swift earlier this week (July 13), when he implied the "Bad Blood" singer had manipulated the media and bullied Katy Perry.

It is unsurprising Lovato would agree with Harris, considering her tepid relationship with Swift. Despite having seemingly moved on from the particularly tense "Ask Taylor" days, Lovato and Swift have never been more than cordial with each other in public. And things ultimately came to a head earlier this year, when Lovato criticized Swift's quiet monetary donation to Kesha, which was allegedly meant to help the "Warrior" singer with her legal expenses during her court battle with Dr. Luke.

"Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I’ll be impressed," Lovato wrote in a now-famous sub-tweet, after news of Swift's donation hit the press.

But Lovato's not the only celebrity who appears to agree with Swift's ex. Zedd also showed his solidarity toward Harris after he liked three of his Taylor-themed tweets.

Swift, meanwhile, has yet to comment on Harris’ diatribe, but there’s been an uptick of negative press lobbed her way ever since those initial photos of her and new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston made their way online, which invoked suspicions of a PR romance.

Hiddleston did his best to shoot those rumors down yesterday when an interviewer from The Hollywood Reporter straight-up asked him to respond to allegations claiming his relationship with Swift was nothing more than a publicity stunt.

“Well, um. How best to put this?,” he said. “That notion is — look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking. That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”
