It sounds like an episode of Seinfeld. Call Attorney Jackie Chiles...

Drive Thru Sign

Her name is Gina Cirrincione and she's from Atlantic City. She is also deaf - or hearing impaired if you prefer - and she is suing Taco Bell because she says ordering food at the drive thru is impossible for her to do...because she can't hear and all.

Most people would think that if you have trouble hearing, or can't hear at all, maybe you would go inside Taco Bell where it might be more convenient to order your Chalupa.

That didn't stop Gina. She went to the drive thru at the Taco Bell in Pleasantville, (I have been there many times myself) where she handed the employee a note with her order on it. The employee said that he would do it this one time but she needed to come inside next time. Seems reasonable to me.

Next, Gina went to a Taco Bell in Atlantic City, where she repeated the same drill, to have the drive thru window shut with no explanation. When Gina went inside, she claims that she was ignored. I don't like being ignored either.

Call the lawyers!

According to Gina's lawsuit against Taco Bell, the drive thru system requires a person to hear and speak, which won't work for the deaf, and is in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act.

Although we feel bad for Gina, does her lawsuit have merit? Who's side are you on - Gina's or Taco Bell's? Take The Mike Show Poll!
