Crocodile Found Wandering Jersey Shore Community

Someone call Snooki.  Her prized 'crocodilly' may have gotten loose.  The 3-foot long reptile was found wandering a neighborhood of Ocean Gate, New Jersey yesterday.

Berkeley Animal Control officers removed the crocodile from East Longport Avenue after it was spotted by several residents.

Berkeley Animal Control Officer Diane Laird reports to Townsquare Media that the creature appears to be healthy.  She speculates:

“He either got away from someone and they won’t want to reclaim him because they’ll get severely fined or he just got too big for someone and they left him by the water.”

No word yet on who the crocodile may belong to.
